What is contact lens?
It is the lens to correct the eyesight by attaching to the cornea of the eyes (black pupils) when the eyesight is bad due to myopia, astigmatism, or hyperopia.
Contact lens can be the glasses to attach to the eyes made by small lenses required for the glasses. It is mainly used for correcting the eyesight of myopia, astigmatism, or hyperopia, and for the cosmetic or therapeutic purposes. However, there is thin tear layer between lens and cornea unlike your imagination, and this layer supplies the required oxygen to the cornea so as to help lubrication. Therefore, the tear layer exchanges are occurred upon movement of lens by blinking the eyes.
